At a Glance

Educational Aid Global Initiative (Edu-Aid) was founded in 2005 by Pastor ‘Poju Oyemade, the Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, as the church’s social response to the standards and quality of primary education. This is achieved through innovative and creative weekly intervention programmes and activities in schools as well as scholarships and sponsorships for students.

Edu-Aid is designed as a community-based educational project targeted at addressing the identified education-related needs in public primary schools in our local community. Presently, Edu-Aid operates in selected primary schools in Lagos Mainland and Eti-Osa (Lekki) Local Government Education Authorities.

What one age cherishes as wisdom may be regarded by another as folly. The aim of education in a country should therefore be a reflection on the national aspiration of the people.
